Easy SunManager runs staffed and unattended sun studios. It identifies the customer, takes the payment, controls the cabins and their time, and manages doors, lighting, ventilation and heating — with remote access for the operator.

Staffed and unattended

Easy SunManager supports both ways of running a sun studio, with the same control behind them.

Unattended studios
The customer chooses a cabin and operates it independently.
Staffed studios
Staff sell sessions, subscriptions, products and services at the reception.
While beds are occupied
Staff can start and cash in a session while the beds are still in use; the next session then starts automatically.
Built-in module or complete cabinet
For unattended studios, the system is built into a wall or cabinet, or delivered as a complete cabinet.

Identification and payment

Customers identify themselves when they choose a sunbed, then pay in the way the studio offers.

eID or sun card
Customers identify with their eID or their sun card. Staffed studios can also use barcode cards.
Cash
Coins and banknotes, with change where the studio offers it.
Bank card
Card payment per session in unattended studios.
Sun card balance
Customers pay from the balance on a rechargeable sun card, which a staffed studio can top up with subscriptions.
Customer registration
New customers register through a questionnaire on the screen.

Cabins and time

Every cabin has a status and its own minutes table, and every session runs to time.

Cabin status
In use with the remaining time, free, or out of service. Staffed studios also see which cabins need cleaning.
Minutes tables
Minutes and prices per sunbed. The price does not have to be a price per minute.
Timed start
The sunbed starts automatically after a set number of minutes, or when the customer presses the start button in the bed.
Preparation and end times
Set per sunbed.

Access and building control

Easy SunManager also controls the studio around the cabins.

Doors
Control of automatic doors.
Access control
Access to the studio, with automatic locking.
Lighting, ventilation and heating
All three controlled by the system.
Emergency telephones
Telephones in the cabins that call only predefined numbers.

Operator and remote management

The operator follows the studio from a distance, and acts on it by SMS.

Remote access
Reach the system without being in the studio.
SMS module
Put sunbeds in or out of service, block beds or customers, credit customer cards, return change, open doors and request the cash status — by SMS.
SMS alerts
For example when notes or coins are stuck, or when change is nearly empty.
Camera monitoring
Cameras in the studio, viewable remotely on a computer or phone.

Reliability

Where the installation calls for it, critical parts of the control are duplicated.

Duplicated cash handling
A double banknote reader and a double coin validator.
Mirrored storage
Data mirrored on flash disks.
Manual operation
In a staffed studio, the cabins can be operated manually if there is an IT problem.
Separate low-voltage control
The low-voltage control is kept separate from the electrical cabinet.
VeMatics electronics and software
The control electronics and the software are developed by VeMatics.

Converting an existing studio

An existing sun studio can move to Easy SunManager without starting again from scratch.

Where compatible, the studio’s current customer cards can be kept.
Existing balances
Where compatible, customer balances can be carried over.
